Incorrect SOAP Password

Incorrect SOAP Password

The SOAP password is incorrect.

Possible Causes

The old SOAP password is invalid.

Troubleshooting Method

Manually run the MOD SOAPPWD command.

  1. Log in to the HUAWEI Operation & Maintenance System, and open the MML Command - CGP window.
  2. Run the MOD SOAPPWD command under the CGP NE. Check whether the old SOAP password is valid. If no, the password has been changed.

  4. If the new password cannot be obtained, reset the password in the database.

    1. Log in to the OMU operating system using SSH as the cgpexpert user, and run the su - root command to switch to the root user.
    2. Run the following script to reset the SOAP password:
      su - omu -c "psql -U cgp -d omu<< eof
      update cgp_1.tbl_sm_user setsvpassword='63cf5acdf2d6f4520368c805592b69246752bd7981b36c90d2e4e6a4c8884c2dc52aacb57137c9482e59e310c69f7dd180a7ca144a467a50746630c6bb57f349', svserialno='247FFF41FF68FF10675CFF4A6BFFFFFFFF14FFFF13FFFF30FF15FFFFFF69FFFF', iuserflag=1 where systype=2 and iuserid = 98;
      update cgp_2.tbl_sm_user set svpassword='63cf5acdf2d6f4520368c805592b69246752bd7981b36c90d2e4e6a4c8884c2dc52aacb57137c9482e59e310c69f7dd180a7ca144a467a50746630c6bb57f349', svserialno='247FFF41FF68FF10675CFF4A6BFFFFFFFF14FFFF13FFFF30FF15FFFFFF69FFFF', iuserflag=1 where systype=2 and iuserid = 98;
      eof" > /opt/pub/software/tmp/tbl_info.txt
    3. Run the following commands to restart the security module. The password after resetting is soapserver.
