Failed to Display the Web Login Page


The web login page fails to be displayed.

Possible Causes

  • The network is faulty.
  • The uPortal has not started or fails to start.

Troubleshooting Method

  • Verify that uPortal server is reachable through the network.
  • Verify that the uPortal processes are running properly.
  • Collect uPortal logs and check for obvious failure logs.


  1. Use commands such as ping and telnet to check whether the network between terminals and the uPortal server is connected. If no, rectify any network fault.
  2. Check whether the uPortal server is reachable from the browser through the network. Focus on the proxy configuration on the browser. If the uPortal server is unreachable, modify the browser configuration.
  3. Verify that the uPortal processes are running properly.

    Log in to the HUAWEI Operation & Maintenance System, choose Device Panel > Module Management, select the corresponding USM NE, and check the process status.

  4. View run logs, check for obvious exceptions, and check related configurations based on exception logs.

    Log in to the HUAWEI Operation & Maintenance System and run the GET LOG command under the USM NE by setting the log type to run log.

  5. In the HUAWEI Operation & Maintenance System, choose Maintenance > File Transfer Service, and download uPortal log files.
