Web Login Failure


When you log in to the uPortal, a message is displayed indicating that the user name or password is incorrect or a system exception occurs.

Possible Causes

  • The user name or password is incorrect.
  • A system exception occurs.

Troubleshooting Method

  • Verify that the user name and password are correct.
  • View uPortal logs and check for obvious exceptions.


  1. Verify that the user name and password are correct. If you forget the password, contact the enterprise administrator to reset the password.
  2. View log files. If there are obvious exceptions, check the system configuration based on exception information.

    Log in to the HUAWEI Operation & Maintenance System and run the GET LOG command under the USM NE by setting the log type to run log.

  3. In the HUAWEI Operation & Maintenance System, choose Maintenance > File Transfer Service, and download uPortal log files.
