License Control Items of the Source Version Are Displayed After an Upgrade

After a service ME is upgraded, the license control items of the source version are unexpectedly displayed in the DSP LICENSE output.

Possible Causes

The license of the target version is not activated and the system still uses the license of the source version. In this case, the license version displayed in DSP LICENSE is still the source license version.

Fault Diagnosis

  1. On the OMU client, open the File Transfer Service window and select License File in Remote Directory. Then, check whether the license file to be activated is available.

    • Yes: Go to 3.
    • No: Go to 2.

  2. In the displayed File Transfer Service window, upload the required license file to the License File directory.
  3. In the MML command interface of the service ME, run ACT LICENSE to activate the license.
  4. Run DSP LICENSE and check whether the fault is rectified.

    • Yes: No further action is required.
    • No: Go to 5.

  5. Use the Information Collection Tool to collect items in Common fault analysis scenario.
  6. Contact Huawei technical support engineers to rectify the fault.
