Command Execution Failure


  • A task times out.
  • A command execution failure message is displayed during the installation.

Possible Causes

  • The network is interrupted.
  • The version package is incorrect or the tool configuration file contains an error.

Troubleshooting Method

Check log files in the following directories of the USM installation tool:

  • \00_AutoInstallTool\tracefile
  • \00_AutoInstallTool\upgrade\save\[ip]\detail.log


  1. Obtain installation logs from the preceding directories.
  2. View the logs about the execution failure and verify that it is not caused by network interruption.
  3. Manually run the command in the HUAWEI Operation & Maintenance System.

    If the command record exists, delete the record and run the command again.
