Target Version Selection Failure

Symptom

After the login to the upgrade tool is successful, Target version in the Select Upgrade ME window is null and the Select check box is unavailable.

Possible Causes

The target version package or upgrade package does not exist.

Fault Diagnosis

Check whether the target version package and upgrade package exist, and then rectify the fault based on the query result.

Procedure

  1. In the MML Command - CGP window of the client, run LST PKG to check whether the target version package and upgrade package of each ME exist.

    • Yes: Go to 4.
    • No: Go to 2.
    NOTE:
    • The version package of the CGP is displayed under the software package list in the output of LST PKG, and the upgrade package is displayed under the ME-related package list.
    • The version packages and upgrade packages of other MEs are displayed in the ME-related package list.

  2. Upload the correct target version package and upgrade package.

    NOTE:

    For details about how to upload the packages, see Loading the Version Package and Upgrade Package of the CGP and the Packages of Other Software in the CGP Upgrade Guide.

  3. Click , and check whether the target version is displayed.

    • Yes: No further action is required.
    • No: Go to 4.

  4. Use the Information Collection Tool to collect items in Common Fault Analysis Scenario.
  5. Contact Huawei technical support engineers to rectify the fault.
