Video Call Failed on an IP Phone

Symptom

The IPT and UC services have been configured and commissioned, but an IP phone user fails to make a video call.

Possible Causes

The IP phone user does not have the Video call right.

Procedure

Log in to the uPortal to grant the video call right to the user.

  1. Log in to uPortal as the admin user.
  2. Choose Management > Subscriber Management and click the name of the IP phone user, as shown in Figure 16-2.

  3. Click Set Rights. On the IPT Service Rights tab, find the Others module and select Video call.
  4. Click Save.
