This section describes the appearance and features of NIP6830 air filters.

The air filter of the NIP6830 is located on the left rear of the chassis, as shown in Figure 1-79.

NOTE:

The air filter of the NIP6830 can be adjusted through bending, facilitating the maintenance within a limited space at the rear of the chassis.

Placing a black sponge air filter at the air intake vent helps prevent dust from entering the system. You are advised to remove and clean the air filter once every three months.

Air Filter (NIP6860)

This section describes the appearance and features of NIP6860 air filters.

The NIP6860 draws air from the front and exhausts air from the rear. There is a 3 U high space in the upper part of the chassis and an air filter on the front of the chassis. To maximize air intake, the filter is fully perforated. The air filter is fixed to the chassis with a fastener to facilitate filter removal and replacement. Figure 1-80 shows an air filter.

NOTE:

Placing a black sponge air filter in front of the air intake vent helps prevent dust from entering the system. You are advised to remove and clean air filters at least once every three months.
