LPU and FPICs

LPU and FPICs

The flexible LPU comprises the motherboard and multiple flexible cards (subcards), improving networking flexibility, which reduces costs and provides customized solutions for users.

LPUF-240

The hot-swappable LPUF-240 supports 240G line-rate forwarding. It supports mixed insertion among different FPICs and has two half-width slots, each of which holds one FPIC.

The LPUF-240 does not support the hot swap of FPICs.

LPUF-120

The hot-swappable LPUF-120 provides two 1/2-width slots, each of which holds one subcard. It supports 120G line-rate forwarding and mixed insertion among different FPICs.

The LPUF-120 does not support the hot swap of FPICs.

The total LPUF-120 subcard performance cannot exceed 120G. To insert the NIP-1X100G-CFP or on the LPUF-120, you can insert only one NIP-1X100G-CFP or .

NIP-24XGE-SFP

The NIP-24XGE-SFP is inserted into the LPU, occupies one 1/2-width flexible card slot, and is not hot-swappable. It provides twenty-four GE optical interfaces for data access and processing.

The NIP-24XGE-SFP supports the following features:

  • GE optical module, supporting GE optical interface features.

  • FE optical module, supporting FE optical interface features.

  • Electrical SFP module, supporting 1000M electrical interface feature.

  • Mixed insertion among the above modules.

NOTE:

Only the interfaces indexed in odd numbers support the electrical interface module.
