Console Cable

Console Cable

The console interface cable is used to connect the console interface on the NIP6800 to the serial interface of the console to transmit configuration data of the NIP6800.

The console interface cable is an 8-core shielded cable. One end of the cable is an RJ45 connector that connects to the console interface on the MPU. The other end has DB9 and DB25 connectors, either of which connects to the serial interface on a computer.

Structure and Appearance

Figure 1-67 shows the structure of a console interface cable. Table 1-97 describes the pin assignment on the console interface cable.
