ALM-1240003 WebSocket Connection Between FusionSphere Neutron and Agile Controller-DCN Is Faulty


The cloud platform plug-in of Agile Controller-DCN periodically checks the connection status of the Websocket channel Between FusionSphere OpenStack and Agile Controller-DCN. When the WebSocket connection is normal, the detection period is 10 seconds. When a failure is detected, the detection period is 5 seconds. This alarm is generated when two consecutive failures are detected.

host_id: specifies the ID of the host for which the alarm is generated.

Additional Info

  • Service: specifies the service for which the alarm is generated.
  • MicroService: specifies the microservice for which the alarm is generated.
  • host_name: specifies the name of the host for which the alarm is generated.
  • local_address: specifies the address of the host for which the alarm is generated.
  • peer_address: specifies the address of Agile Controller-DCN connected to the host for which the alarm is generated.
  • detail_info: specifies the alarm details.

Impact on the System

If the WebSocket channel between FusionSphere OpenStack and the Agile Controller-DCN controller is abnormal, FusionSphere OpenStack cannot receive the status report from the controller.

Possible Causes

  • The WebSocket link between FusionSphere OpenStack and Agile Controller-DCN is disconnected.
  • FusionSphere OpenStack fails to obtain token authentication from Agile Controller-DCN.
  • The Agile Controller-DCN controller is faulty.


  1. Log in to the Agile Controller-DCN service plane. The URL is https://{Agile Controller-DCN northbound floating IP address}:31943.
  2. Choose Integration > Cloud Platform > OpenStack.
  3. View details about the cloud platform corresponding to the FusionSphere OpenStack node.

    Check whether the status of WebSocket is Online.

    • If yes, the link for reporting the status of the service processed by the controller is normal. In this case, go to 4.
    • If no, the link is disconnected. In this case, go to 9.

  1. Log in to the FusionSphere OpenStack web client.

    For details, see Logging In to the FusionSphere OpenStack Web Client (ManageOne Mode).

  2. Choose Configuration > OpenStack > Neutron.
  3. On the right of Neutron Extended Configuration Item, click Edit. The Neutron Extended Configuration Item page is displayed.
  4. Set the password of the northbound account of the controller and click Submit.
  5. Check whether the alarm is automatically cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 9.
