ALM-9916 OMM-Server Service Is Unavailable

Description

The OMM-Server component periodically (30 minutes by default) checks the database connection status and database table access status. This alarm is generated when the database connection is abnormal, the database connection times out, or the database table access is abnormal. This alarm is cleared when the database connection and the database table access become normal.

Possible Causes

The GaussDB database of FusionSphere OpenStack is abnormal.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the GaussDB database is faulty by performing operations provided in "Rectifying Database Faults" in the HUAWEI CLOUD Stack 6.5.0 Troubleshooting Guide.

  2. After the database is restored, wait for about 30 minutes and check whether the alarm is automatically cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 3.

  3. Contact technical support for assistance.
