This alarm is generated when the test on the SNMP connectivity between ManageOne and the third-party system fails.

Indicates the name of the service that fails the SNMP connectivity test.

Interconnected system type

Indicates the name of the interconnected system that fails the SNMP connectivity test.

System Name

Indicates the name of the interconnected system that fails the SNMP connectivity test.

Interconnected address

Indicates the IP address of the interconnected system that fails the SNMP connectivity test.

Impact on System

Synchronization alarms of the interconnected system cannot be normally reported, or the related services of the interconnected system cannot be delivered.

Possible Causes

  • The IP address or port number of the interconnected system where the SNMP authentication fails is incorrect.
  • The parameter settings for SNMP interconnection are incorrect, for example, the username and password.
  • The network is faulty.
  • The interconnected system where the SNMP authentication fails is faulty.

Handling Procedure

  1. Log in to ManageOne Maintenance Portal using a browser.

  2. Choose Alarms > Current Alarms from the main menu.
  3. Locate the row that contains the target alarm, and click to view the alarm details.

    NOTE:

    The color of Severity may vary depending on the alarm severity.

  4. View and record the location information and possible causes on the alarm details page.
  5. Perform the following operations according to the alarm possible causes.

    The IP address or port number of the interconnected system where the SNMP authentication fails is incorrect.

    Contact the system administrator of the interconnected system to obtain and re-enter the correct IP address and port number.

    1. Choose System > Platform Configuration > System Access from the main menu.
    2. In the navigation pane, choose Driver Life Cycle Management > Configuration Management.
    3. On the displayed page, view the value of Local IP address, click the target card based on the deployment region information to view the value of Local port, and reset the correct values of Local IP address and Local port.

    The parameter settings for SNMP interconnection are incorrect, for example, the username and password.

    Contact the system administrator of the interconnected system to obtain and configure the correct system information again.

    1. Choose System > Platform Configuration > System Access from the main menu.
    2. In the navigation pane, choose Driver Life Cycle Management > Configuration Management.
    3. Click the card of the interconnected system based on the deployment region information, click in the upper right corner of the System Information of the interconnected system, and click to add correct system information.

    The network is faulty.

    1. Use PuTTY to log in to the regionAlias-ManageOne-Service01 node using the IP address of the node.

      Default account: sopuser; default password: D4I$awOD7k

    2. Run the following command to switch to the ossadm user:

      su - ossadm

      The default password is Changeme_123.

    3. Run the following command to check whether the IP address of the interconnected system can be pinged:

      ping Interconnected address in Alarm Parameters

      • If yes, the SNMP interconnection system is faulty. Contact the system administrator of the interconnected system to rectify the fault.
      • If no, contact technical support for assistance.

    The interconnected system where the SNMP authentication fails is faulty.

    Contact the system administrator of the interconnected system to rectify the fault.

Alarm Clearance

After the fault is rectified, the system will automatically clear the alarm. Manual clearing is not required.
