ALM-1101315 Local Pass-Through Disk Usage Exceeds the Threshold
Description
FusionSphere OpenStack periodically (every 5 minutes by default) checks the usage of local pass-through disks in a host group. This alarm is generated when the number of local pass-through disks reaches 85% of the total number of local pass-through disks in the host group.
This alarm is cleared when the number of local pass-through disks is reduced to 70% of the total number of local pass-through disks in the host group.

Impact on the System
The local pass-through VMs may fail to be created because the local pass-through disk resources are insufficient.
Possible Causes
The usage of the local pass-through disks in the host group is too high.
Procedure
- Based on the alarm information, obtain the type of the local pass-through disks. On the server, add a local pass-through disk with the same type as that of the original pass-through disks for capacity expansion, or release unnecessary VMs that occupy local pass-through disks to release resources.
- Check whether the alarm is cleared when the usage of the local pass-through disks is lower than 70%.
- If yes, no further action is required.
- If no, go to 3.
- If any of the preceding operations fails, contact technical support for assistance.
