This alarm is generated when the time of Service OM is adjusted beyond the time adjustment threshold (60 seconds).

The parameter value is fixed at The Alarm Threshold = 1 minute..

Impact on the System

System functions are abnormal, for example, the timing service on Service OM. In addition, if Service OM has been configured with the upper-layer time server, the alarm described in ALM-9204 Time Difference Between the OpenStack OM and the Upper-Layer Time Server Too Large may be generated.

Possible Causes

The time of Service OM node is adjusted.


  1. Log in to the Service OM web client.

    For details, see Logging In to and Logging Out of Service OM.

  2. On the Service OM page, choose Services > Service OM > Centralized O&M > System > Time Management.
  3. On the Time Management page, click Synchronize Time Forcibly.

    System services will be restarted during forcibly time synchronization, which takes about 20 minutes.

  4. After about 20 minutes, log in to Service OM again and check whether the time synchronization is successful on the Time Management page.

    • If yes, go to 5.
    • If no, go to 7.

  5. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 6.

  6. Handle the time error by performing operations provided in "System Time Faults" in the HUAWEI CLOUD Stack 6.5.0 Troubleshooting Guide.
  7. Contact technical support for assistance.
