Impact on the System

If the Rest interface is unavailable, queues cannot be created or alarms cannot be reported.

Possible Causes

1. The network connection between the Manager service and the Rest service is abnormal.

2. The REST service is not started properly.

3. The Rest service process is running abnormally.

Procedure

  • The Rest process is not properly started.

    Rest depends on GlobalZK. Check whether GlobalZK works properly based on the log information.

  • The process is in the suspended state.

    Check whether the disk of the node where the Rest service resides is full or whether the Rest service is running properly.

    No manual intervention is required. After the upgrade or restart succeeds, the alarm is automatically cleared.

Alarm Clearing

This alarm will be automatically cleared after the fault is rectified.
