Space usage of system metadata on the backup manager or backup server exceeds the maximum threshold (95%).

Procedure

  1. Possible cause 1: On the backup manager or backup server, the percentage of space occupied by system configuration data exceeds the upper limit of 95%.

    1. Refer to Logging In to the eBackup Server to log in to eBackup-Manager or backup server.
    2. Run the su root command and enter the password of user root to switch to user root.

      The default password of user root is Cloud12#$.

    3. Run the df -h command to check whether the space usage of /opt is below 95%.
      • If yes, 1.d.
      • If no, Contact technical support engineers.
    4. Run the cd /opt command to go to the /opt directory.
    5. Retain directories huawei-data-protection, logstash, omm, root, dsware, lost + found, software, and export_alarms. Delete useless files or directories. To determine which files or directories are useless, contact technical support engineers. Ensure that /opt space usage does not exceed 90%.
