Description

Service OM checks certificates of FusionSphere OpenStack and Service OM Nginx in the system each day by default. This alarm is generated when a Huawei default certificate is used.

Impact on the System

Use Huawei default certificates only for site deployment and commissioning. For commercial use, replace the Huawei default certificates with the customer's certificates. If you continue to use the default certificates, the service functions will not be affected, but Huawei assumes no responsibility for security risks that may arise as a consequence of using the default certificates.

Possible Causes

FusionSphere OpenStack and Service OM uses Huawei default certificates.

Procedure

  1. Replace the FusionSphere-API certificate and ManageOne-PKI certificate by following the instructions provided in "Replacing a Single or Multiple Certificates at a Time on ManageOne" in HUAWEI CLOUD Stack 6.5.0 Security Management Guide.
  2. After all required certificates are replaced, wait for 5 minutes and check whether the alarm is automatically cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 3.

  3. Contact technical support for assistance.
