Description

The space used by event dump directory ([Dump_dir]) exceeds preset threshold ([Threshold_size]MB). When the size of the directory exceeds maximum value ([Max_size]MB), the program automatically deletes the oldest dump file.

Possible Causes

There are too many files in the event dump directory.

Procedure

  1. Possible cause 1: There are too many files in the event dump directory.

    1. Refer to Logging In to the eBackup Server to log in to eBackup-Manager or backup server.
    2. Run the su root command. Enter the password of user root to switch to user root.

      The default password of user root is Cloud12#$.

    3. Run the cat /opt/huawei-data-protection/ebackup/microservice/ebk_alarm/conf/hcpconf.ini | grep 'EventDumpDirPath' command to obtain the event dump directory.
    4. Run the cd EventDumpDirPath command to go to the event dump directory. In the command, EventDumpDirPath indicates the event dump directory obtained in 1.c.
    5. Back up the event dump file.
    6. Manually delete the backup event dump file so that the space usage of the EventDumpDirPath directory is less than the threshold.
