This event is generated when an active/standby switchover occurs for a service.

  • service_name: specifies the name of the service for which the event is generated.
  • host_id: specifies the ID of the host for which the event is generated.

  • host_id: specifies the ID of the host for which the event is generated.
  • Hostname: specifies the name of the host where the event is generated.

Impact on the System

This event only records that the standby service changes to the active state. There is no impact on the system.

Possible Causes

  • The active service is faulty.
  • The active service is stopped by a maintenance command.
  • The host where the active service resides is faulty.


This event informs the user of only switchover from the standby service to the active state. Generally, you need to manually clear the event. No extra operation is required.


If you need to locate the cause of the alarm, check whether ALM-6017 Faulty Host or ALM-73203 Component Fault is reported or whether the user manually triggers the command and stops the active service. If the problem persists, contact technical support for assistance.
