ALM-3010 File Loss Error

Description

This alarm is generated when SWR service files stored on the disk are lost.

Specifies the namespace of the service that reports the alarm.

Specifies the name of the service instance for which the alarm is reported.

Specifies the access address of the service that reports the alarm.

Impact on the System

You cannot download an image or software package whose files are lost.

System Actions

The system performs scheduled tasks at 02:00 UTC every day. If any file is lost, this alarm is generated. Otherwise, this alarm is cleared.

Possible Causes

Files are deleted by mistake.

Procedure

  1. Check the Additional Information field in the File Loss Error alarm.

    1. Use a browser to log in to the FusionStage OM zone console.
      1. Log in to ManageOne Maintenance Portal.
        • Login address: https://Address for accessing the homepage of ManageOne Maintenance Portal:31943, for example, https://oc.type.com:31943.
        • The default username is admin, and the default password is Huawei12#$.
      2. On the O&M Maps page, click the FusionStage link under Quick Links to go to the FusionStage OM zone console.
    2. Choose Application Operations > Application Operations from the main menu.
    3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Alarm Center > Alarm List and query the alarm by setting query criteria.
    4. Click to expandthe alarm information to view Additional Information.
      • If there is information similar to image:admin/ns/busy-box:latest,layer:ffb622a5c352efe136b7361a367c67039605a77d82969317d857f57229f50271, go to 2.

        image indicates that an image is lost. admin indicates the tenant to which the image belongs. ns indicates the repository space to which the image belongs. busy-box indicates the image name. latest indicates the tag of the image.

      • If there is information similar to file:op_svc_swr/ns/stack_charts/proxy/1.0/proxy-1.1.9.tgz,digest:ffb622a5c352efe136b7361a367c67039605a77d82969317d857f57229f50271, go to 3.

        file indicates that a file is lost. op_svc_swr indicates the tenant to which the file belongs. ns indicates the repository space to which the file belongs. stack_charts indicates the software repository to which the file belongs to. proxy indicates the version of the file. proxy-1.1.9.tgz indicates the file name.

  2. Upload an image.

    1. Choose Marketplace > Software Center > Image Repository from the main menu.
    2. On the My Images page, click Upload Image.
    3. In the upper right corner, select a repository space.

      The repository space is obtained in 1.

    4. Click Select image, Select the image to be uploaded and click Open.
    5. After you select the image, click Start Upload.

      The image is uploaded successfully if the status is Upload Finish.

  3. Upload a software package.

    1. Choose Marketplace > Software Center > Software Repository from the main menu.
    2. On My Software tab page, click the software repository to be uploaded.

      The repository details page is displayed.

    3. Click in front of a desired software package.
    4. Next to a version, click Upload File.

      If the version is not added when you create a software repository, you need to click Add Version and add a version before uploading the file.

    5. Click Add File,Select a software package and click Open, and configure the parameters by referring to Table 17-1.

      Parameter

      Description

      Overwrite Existing File

      Set this parameter to Yes to overwrite the existing software package with the same name and path of the selected software package.

      Decompress File

      Optional. Set this parameter to Yes if you want to decompress the compressed software package.

      File Path

      Path storing the selected software package. The path is the virtual path of the software repository.

      If you have set a path for storing the software package of the lost file, set the same path for the selected software package.

    6. Click Start Upload.

      The software package is uploaded successfully if the status is Upload Finish.

Alarm Clearing

This alarm is automatically cleared if no file loss is detected during the daily scheduled scanning.
