ALM-1200054 Public network IP address is insufficient

Description

The elastic IP address audit module checks the number of available elastic IP addresses in an IP address pool at 02:00 every day. This alarm is generated when the number of available elastic IP addresses in the pool is smaller than the configured threshold.

Impact on the System

If the number of elastic IP addresses is insufficient, users cannot assign elastic IP addresses.

Possible Causes

A large number of elastic IP addresses are used, leading to resource insufficiency.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the ManageOne OM plane using a browser.

    • URL: https://Address for the homepage of the ManageOne OM plane:31943. For example: https://oc.type.com:31943.
    • Default username: admin, default password: Huawei12#$.

  2. In the navigation bar on ManageOne, choose O&M Maps. The O&M Maps page is displayed.
  3. In the Quick Links navigation bar on the right of the O&M Maps page, click Service OM. The Service OM page is displayed.
  4. In the upper navigation tree, choose Services > VPC.
  5. In the navigation tree of the displayed page, click ExternalNet.
  6. In the external network list, select the record for the external network of an elastic IP address, and choose Operation > More > Create IPv4 Subnet.
  7. Allocate subnet segments based on the network plan and create subnets for external networks of elastic IP addresses.
  8. After the next elastic IP address audit is complete, check whether the alarm is automatically cleared.

    • If the alarm is cleared, no further action is required.
    • If the alarm persists, contact technical support for assistance.

Alarm Clearance

This alarm will be automatically cleared after the fault is rectified.
