Impact on the System

Users fail to access the ADS console and fail to apply for ADS service instances.

Possible Causes

  • Network connection between the ADS and GaussDB 200 is abnormal.
  • Access between the ADS and LibrA is abnormal.

Procedure

  1. Use PuTTY to log in to EIS_PublicVM-Service1 and EIS_PublicVM-Service2 to manage VMs.

    Default account: ads; default password: Cloud12#$

  2. Run the following command to disable user logout upon session timeout:

    TMOUT=0

  3. Go to the opt/dbs/ads/log/run directory and view runTime.log.
  4. Locate the error log based on the location information in the alarm details on ManageOne Maintenance Portal.

    • If "Connection timed out" is displayed, the network connection is abnormal.
    • If "Login failed" is displayed, the password of the GaussDB 200 account is incorrect.
    • If other error messages are displayed, contact technical support for assistance.

Alarm Clearing

After the fault is rectified, the system will automatically clear the alarm.
