Introduction

An alarm is used to notify users that a fault has been detected. Information about the fault is contained in the alarm. An event is a notification generated when the system is running properly.

  • If the system is faulty and an alarm is reported, you can rectify the fault based on the alarm information.
  • If the system is running properly and an event is reported, you can clear the event based on the reported information.

How to View Alarms

O&M personnel can access the ManageOne Maintenance Portal to view alarm information. The online help for alarms enables maintenance engineers to easily and quickly view the alarm handling suggestions and rectify faults.

  1. Log in to ManageOne Maintenance Portal using a browser.

    • URL: https://Address for accessing the homepage of ManageOne Maintenance Portal:31943, for example, https://oc.type.com:31943
    • Default username: admin; default password: Huawei12#$

  2. On the main menu, choose Alarms > Current Alarms.
  3. In the alarm list, click the arrow on the left of the row that contains a desired alarm to view the alarm details.
  4. Click the Alarm Help tab.
  5. Click the link under Alarm Help URL. You are redirected to the alarm help page of HelpCenter.
