Logging In to a Host with a Role Deployed


This section describes how to use a controller host to log in to a host with a specified role deployed.


  1. Run the following command to obtain the name of a host with a specified role deployed:

    cps template-instance-list --service service name role name


    The nova api role is used as the following example in the command.

    cps template-instance-list --service nova nova-api

    In the command output, omip indicates the OM plane IP address of the host with the nova api role deployed.

  2. Run the following command to switch to user fsp.

    su fsp

  3. Run the following command to log in to the host with the role deployed.

    ssh fsp@omip

  4. If "Enter passphrase for key" is prompted, enter the default password Huawei@CLOUD8.
  5. Run the following command to switch to user root.

    su - root

    The default password is Huawei@CLOUD8!.
