Description

This alarm is generated when MORCSAPService fails to register and generate a configuration file from MORCLVSService. MORCSAPService invokes the registration API of MORCLVSService.

Indicates the name of the service that reports alarms.

IP Address

Indicates the IP address of the server on which a service reports the alarm.

Impact on System

After the alarm is generated, alarms reported to Linux Virtual Server (LVS) cannot be sent to the MORCSAPService node which fails to be registered.

Probable Causes

  • Failed to install and deploy MORCLVSService.
  • Failed to install the RCLVSService.zip package of MORCLVSService.

Handling Procedure

  1. Log in to ManageOne Deployment Portal to check whether the LVS fails to be installed.

    1. Use a browser to log in to ManageOne Deployment Portal.

      URL: https://Floating IP address of ManageOne Deployment Portal:31945, for example, https://192.168.0.1:31945

      Default account: admin; default password: Huawei12#$

    2. Choose Application > Software Management > Manage Product Software from the main menu.
    3. Click the ManageOne card.
    4. In the Deployment History List area, click in the Operation column corresponding to the most recently deployed MORCLVSService microservice, enter the service name MODriverFramework in the search box, and click Enter to query the deployment list of the service.

      If the deployment list of the service is not found, go back to Deployment History List. In the Deployment History List area, click in the Operation column of the row under the row containing the most recently deployed microservice to continue the query.

    5. Find and click the instance name corresponding to the MOAdmin feature.
    6. In the Deployment History List area, click Successful in the Deployment Status column corresponding to the most recently deployed microservice.
    7. In the Resources Deploy Status area, find the resource whose Name contains MORCLVSService and Type is Stage, and check whether Success is displayed in the Deployment Status column.
      • If yes, contact technical support for assistance and deploy MORCLVSService again.
      • If no, go to 2.

  2. Check whether the RCLVSService.zip package is installed during the installation and deployment of MORCLVSService.

    1. Use PuTTY to log in to the regionAlias-ManageOne-Service01 node using the IP address of the node.

      Default account: sopuser; default password: D4I$awOD7k

    2. Run the following command to switch to the root user:

      sudo su - root

      Default password: Changeme_123

    3. Run the following command to go to the /opt/envs directory:

      cd /opt/envs/

    4. Run the following command to check whether the RCLVSService directory exists:

      ll

      If the command output contains RCLVSService, the RCLVSService directory exists.

      • If yes, go to 3.
      • If no, contact technical support for assistance.

  3. Check whether the content of the RCLVSService.zip package in the RCLVSService directory is complete.

    1. Run the following command to go to the RCLVSService directory:

      cd RCLVSService

    2. Run the following command to check whether the content of the RCLVSService.zip package is complete:

      ll

      The complete command output is as follows:

      • If yes, collect information generated during alarm handling and contact technical support for assistance.
      • If no, contact technical support for assistance.

Alarm Clearance

This alarm will be automatically cleared after the fault is rectified.
