Initial configuration failed.

Procedure

  1. 1 Possible cause 1: Initial configuration fails.

    1. Use PuTTY to log in to the backup node reported by the alarm.

      Default account: hcp. Default password: PXU9@ctuNov17!.

    2. Run the su root command to change user to root.
    3. Run the cd /opt/huawei-data-protection/ebackup/microservice/ebk_XXX/conf command to go to the microservice configuration directory. In the preceding command, ebk_XXX indicates the microservice name.
    4. Run the ls -l srv_checked_processes.xml command, and check whether the permission of the configuration file is 600 and whether the file owner is hcpprocess:hcpmgr.
      • If yes, run 1.e.
      • If no, run the chmod 600 srv_checked_processes.xml command to set the file permission to 600, and run the chown hcpprocess:hcpmgr srv_checked_processes.xml command to set the file owner. No further action is required.
    5. Run the cat srv_checked_processes.xml command, and check whether the values of autoRestart and onlyRunOnLeaderNode are yes or no and whether the values of failedThreshold and failedPeriod are between 0 and 1440.
      • If yes, run 1.f.
      • If no, run the vim srv_checked_processes.xml command, and modify the values of configuration items in 1.e to valid values. No further action is required.
    6. Run the cd /opt/huawei-data-protection/ebackup/microservice/ebk_XXX/script command to go to the microservice script directory. In the preceding command, ebk_XXX indicates the microservice name.
    7. Run the ls -l srv_processes_monitor.sh command, and check whether the permission of the script file is 550 and whether the file owner is hcpprocess:hcpmgr.
      • If yes, contact technical support engineers for assistance.
      • If no, run the chmod 550 srv_processes_monitor.sh command to set the file permission to 550, and run the chown hcpprocess:hcpmgr srv_processes_monitor.sh command to set the file owner. No further action is required.
