ALM-1130018 Failed to Send IMS Tenant Trace Log

Description

When the IMS service is used to create, modify, or delete a resource, such as an image, the IMS service sends the recorded operation logs to ManageOne. This alarm is generated when the IMS service fails to send the recorded operation logs to ManageOne for 12 times.

  2. Click Log In.
  3. On the menu bar in the upper part of the page, choose Alarms.
  4. In the alarm list, locate and click the target alarm name in the Name column. The Alarm Details and Handling Recommendations dialog box is displayed.
  5. Obtain the following information:

    • Additional Information (including Service, MicroService, DestinationComponent, and ErrorMessage)
    • Location Information (Service and HostIP)

  6. Check whether the following information is contained in ErrorMessage of additional information:

    • If the failure cause contains "exceptionId:framwork.remote.SystemError", an exception may occur in ManageOne services. Contact technical support for assistance.
    • If the failure cause contains "connect timed out" or "connect refused", the network connection is unstable. Check whether the network is faulty.

ALM-1131007 No NTP Process

Description

This alarm is generated when the Network Time Protocol (NTP) process of the Image Convert node becomes faulty.

  6. Check whether the NTP server is powered off. If it is powered off, you need to have them power on the NTP server.
  7. Use PuTTY to log in to the CPT-SRV01 or CPT-SRV02 node.

    Login address: IP address of the additional information obtained in 5.

    Default username: sysadmin; default password: Huawei12#$

  8. Run the following command and enter the password of user root as prompted to switch to user root (the default password is Cloud12#$):

    sudo su - root

  9. Run the following command to prevent PuTTY logout upon timeout:

    TMOUT=0

  10. Run the following command to check whether the network communication is normal:

    ping ntp NTP Server IP Address

    • If yes, go to 11.
    • If no, contact technical support for assistance.

  11. Run the following command to check whether the NTP process exists:

    ps -ef |grep ntp

    • If yes, go to 12.
    • If no, go to 13.

  12. Run the following command to stop the NTP process:

    kill -9 Process ID

    In this command, Process ID is the process ID queried in 11.

    The system automatically starts the NTP process. If the NTP process has not started for a long period of time, run the following command to start it:

    service ntp restart

  14. Wait for 3 minutes and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, contact technical support for assistance.

    In this command, Process ID is the process ID queried in 9.

  11. Run the following command to start the Tomcat process:

    sh /opt/imcs/tomcat/bin/startup.sh

  12. Wait for 3 minutes and check whether the alarm is cleared.
