This alarm is generated when a delivered backup task fails to obtain backup server parameters.

Backup Server Type

The backup server type is SFTP.

Impact on System

The backup task fails to be executed.

Possible Causes

  • The backup server parameters are not configured.

Handling Procedure

  1. On ManageOne Maintenance Portal, choose System > Backup and Restoration from the main menu. In the navigation pane, choose Backup Policy to check whether a backup server is configured.

    • If yes, go to 5.
    • If no, check the configuration of the backup server by referring to Preparing the SFTP Server.

  2. Choose Backup Policy. If the transmission protocol of Basic Data is not the type provided in the alarm parameters, change the transmission protocol of Basic Data to the type provided in the alarm parameters.
  3. Select Basic Data and click Immediate backup.
  4. In the task list, wait until the backup task is complete and check whether the task is successfully executed.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 5.

  5. Collect the alarm handling information and contact technical support for assistance.

Alarm Clearance

This alarm will be automatically cleared after the fault is rectified.
