Impact on the System

Users fail to access the ADS console and fail to apply for ADS service instances.

Possible Causes

The ADS is faulty, and the corresponding network connection is normal.

Procedure

  1. Use the IP address of the EIS_PublicVM-Service1 and EIS_PublicVM-Service2 node to check whether the network connection is normal. Specifically, run the following command on the console:

    ping Node IP address

    • If yes, the database network connection is normal. Go to 2.
    • If no, contact technical support for assistance.

  2. Use PuTTY to log in to the EIS_PublicVM-Service1 and EIS_PublicVM-Service2 node to manage VMs.

    Default account: ads; default password: Cloud12#$

  3. Run the following command to switch to the root user:

    su - root

    Default password: Cloud12#$

  4. Run the following command to switch to the gausscore user:

    su gausscore

  5. Run the following command to log in to the adsdb database:

    gsql -d adsdb -U adsdb -p 8635 -h 127.0.0.1 -W Eis@Remote123

  6. If the connection fails, contact technical support for assistance.

After the fault is rectified, the system will automatically clear the alarm.
