This alarm is generated when SDR files fail to be uploaded to the file server in the metering center.

Description

Metering Center File Server

Indicates the address of the file server in the metering center.

Impact on System

SDR files of resources cannot be uploaded. As a result, the system cannot collect SDRs when metering resources.

Possible Causes

  • The file server in the metering center cannot work properly.
  • The file server in the metering center has insufficient space.

Handling Procedure

  1. Check whether the login to the file server of the metering center is successful.

    1. Log in to ManageOne Maintenance Portal using a browser.

      URL: https://Address for accessing the homepage of ManageOne Maintenance Portal:31943, for example, https://oc.type.com:31943

      Default account: admin; default password: Huawei12#$

    2. Choose System > Platform Configuration > System Maintenance from the main menu.
    3. In the navigation pane, choose Configuration Information Management.
    4. Click the Configure Data Reporting tab page.
    5. Locate METERSFTP in the Group Name column and click Modify.
    6. Set the Value of Port number, User name, Password, and Address and record them.
    7. Check whether you can use FileZilla to log in to the server in Metering Center based on the information recorded in 1.f.
      • If yes, go to 2.
      • If no, contact technical support for assistance.

  2. Check whether the user has the permission to create files in the /opt/meterfiles/uploads directory on the file server of the metering center.

    • If yes, delete the created file and go to 3.
    • If no, contact technical support for assistance.

  3. Check whether the used space of the /opt/meterfiles/uploads directory on the file server of the metering center exceeds 5 GB.

    • If yes, contact technical support for assistance.
    • If no, go to 4.

  4. After 1 hour, check whether new SDR files are uploaded to the /opt/meterfiles/uploads directory on the file server of the metering center.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, contact technical support for assistance.

Alarm Clearance

After the fault that triggers the alarm is rectified, the alarm is automatically cleared.
