Fault Location Info

Audit items
  • info-collect-server: specifies that the audit item for which the alarm is generated is DHCP namespace resource redundancy.
  • Service=neutron: specifies that the audit item for which the alarm is generated is the orphan port resource.
  • audit_neutron_port: specifies that the audit item for which the alarm is generated is port resource redundancy.

Additional Info

  • Service: specifies the name of the service for which the alarm is generated. The default value is neutron.
  • MicroService: specifies the name of the microservice for which the alarm is generated. The default value is VPC.
  • detail_info:
    • redundant_dhcpns_count xxx: specifies the number of redundant DHCP namespaces for which the alarm is generated.
    • Wild_ports xxx: specifies the orphan port for which the alarm is generated.
    • stale_ports xxx: specifies the redundant port for which the alarm is generated.

Impact on the System

When this alarm is generated, virtual resources in abnormal state exist, affecting the management of virtual network resources.

Possible Causes

  • An invalid VM port exists in the system.
  • Redundant Neutron namespaces (such as the DHCP namespace or router namespace) exist in the system.
  • An orphan virtual network port exists in the system.
NOTE:

Obtain the audit issue that caused the alarm from the alarm details and handle the issue according to the following procedure.

Procedure

  1. Obtain the value of detail_info in Additional Info in the alarm details and the name of the corresponding audit report based on Table 3-4.

  2. Determine the deployment scenario of the current environment. Obtain the audit report.

  3. Determine the scenario where the current environment is deployed and obtain section "Analyzing Audit Results." Identify the handling method based on the audit report name and handle the audit items.

  4. Determine the scenario where the current environment is deployed and obtain section "Manual Audit." Start the system audit again.

    • Region Type I scenario:
    • Region Type II and Region Type III scenarios:

  5. Check whether the alarm is cleared.
