ALM-38004 Redis Operation Fails


This alarm is generated when the service fails to connect to the Redis.

Possible Causes

  • The Redis service is stopped.
  • The service is disconnected.


  1. Use PuTTY to log in to the manage_db1_ip node.

    The default username is paas, and the default password is QAZ2wsx@123!.

  2. Run the following commands to check the database replication status:

    cd /opt/paas/oss/manager/apps/DBAgent/bin

    ./dbsvc_adm -cmd query-db-instance

    The following information is displayed:

    • If State of the master instance is Up, go to 5.
    • Otherwise, go to 3.

  3. Run the following commands to start database:

    cd /opt/paas/oss/manager/agent/container/redis/bin

    ./ /opt/redis/data/apmdbsvr-10_186_62_135-20

    In the preceding commands, apmdbsvr-10_186_62_135-20 indicates the ID of the master instance in the command output in 2, that is, the value of the InstNumber field. Set the value according to the actual situation.


    This command can only start this database instance on the node.

  4. Query the database instance status again by performing 2.
  5. Check whether the network connection between the service and Redis is normal.

    1. Use a browser to log in to the FusionStage OM zone console.
      1. Log in to ManageOne Maintenance Portal.
        • Login address: https://Address for accessing the homepage of ManageOne Maintenance Portal:31943, for example,
        • The default username is admin, and the default password is Huawei12#$.
      2. On the O&M Maps page, click the FusionStage link under Quick Links to go to the FusionStage OM zone console.
    2. On the main menu, choose Application Operations > Application Operations.
    3. In the left pane, choose Alarm Center > Alarm List.
    4. On the Alarm List page, locate the alarm on the alarm list, and click Query to show the alarm details.
    5. View and record the details information in Location Info and the Generation Time of the alarm in the alarm list.
    6. Contact technical support to check the network connection and rectify the fault.

Alarm Clearing

This alarm is automatically cleared when the service can connect to the database normally.
