Alarm Description

This alarm is reported when the heartbeat detection of the APIServer service fails.

Impact on the System

If the APIServer APIs are unavailable, external APIs provided by DMS cannot be used, queues and messages cannot be viewed and managed on the GUI, and external APIs provided by APIServer cannot be used.

Possible Causes

1. The network connection between the Manager service and the APIServer service is abnormal.

2. The APIServer service is not started properly.

3. The APIServer service process is running abnormally.


  • The APIServer process is not properly started.

    APIServer depends on GaussDB and GlobalZK. Check whether GaussDB or GlobalZK works properly based on the log information.

  • The process is in the suspended state.

    Check whether the disk of the node where the APIServer service resides is full or whether the APIServer service is running properly.

    No manual intervention is required. After the upgrade or restart succeeds, the alarm is automatically cleared.

This alarm will be automatically cleared after the fault is rectified.
