ALM-1240001 Failed to Restore Data Consistency Between FusionSphere Neutron and Agile Controller-DCN

Description

The cloud platform plug-in of Agile Controller-DCN periodically or manually triggers data consistency comparison and restoration between the Neutron data and Agile Controller-DCN data on the cloud platform. If the comparison and restoration task fails, this alarm is reported.

  • The format or content of the file downloaded from Agile Controller-DCN is incorrect.
  • When Agile Controller-DCN processes the delivered repair request, the return result is not confirmed for a long time.
  • An internal error occurs in the plug-in.

Procedure

  1. Check whether "I/O error occurred on whitelist file" is displayed for the alarm detail.

    • If yes, go to 2.
    • If no, go to 9.

  2. Use PuTTY to log in to the first FusionSphere OpenStack node through the IP address of the External OM plane.

    The default user name is fsp. The default password is Huawei@CLOUD8.

    The system supports both password and public-private key pair for identity authentication. If the public-private key pair is used for login authentication, see detailed operations in Using PuTTY to Log In to a Node in Key Pair Authentication Mode.

    NOTE:
    To obtain the IP address of the External OM plane, search for the required parameter on the Tool-generated IP Parameters sheet of the xxx_export_all.xlsm file exported from HUAWEI CLOUD Stack Deploy during software installation. The parameter names in different scenarios are as follows:
    • Region Type I scenario:

      Cascading system: Cascading-ExternalOM-Reverse-Proxy

      Cascaded system: Cascaded-ExternalOM-Reverse-Proxy

    • Region Type II and Region Type III scenarios: ExternalOM-Reverse-Proxy

  3. Run the following command and enter the password of user root to switch to user root:

    su - root

    The default password of user root is Huawei@CLOUD8!.

  4. Run the following command to disable user logout upon system timeout:

    TMOUT=0

  5. Run the following command to import environment variables:

    source set_env

    Information similar to the following is displayed:

      please choose environment variable which you want to import: 
      (1) openstack environment variable (keystone v3) 
      (2) cps environment variable 
      (3) openstack environment variable legacy (keystone v2) 
      (4) openstack environment variable of cloud_admin (keystone v3) 
      please choose:[1|2|3|4] 

  6. Enter 1 to enable Keystone V3 authentication and enter the password of OS_USERNAME as prompted.

    Default account format: DCname_admin; default password: FusionSphere123.

  7. Run the vim /etc/neutron/whitelist.ini command to delete the redundant whitelist configuration from the whitelist.ini file and ensure that the file size is less than 10 MB.
  8. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 9.

  1. Log in to the Agile Controller-DCN service plane. The URL is https://{Agile Controller-DCN northbound floating IP address}:31943.
  2. Choose Integration > Cloud Platform > OpenStack.
  3. View details about the cloud platform corresponding to the FusionSphere OpenStack node.

    Check whether the statuses of Http (northbound link) and WebSocket are Online.

    • If yes, the links for delivering the communication service and for reporting the status of the service processed by the controller are normal. In this case, go to 12.
    • If no, the link is disconnected. In this case, go to 16.

  1. Repeat 2 to 6.
  2. Run the following command to check whether a consistency comparison and restoration task is being executed:

    neutron acctrl-neutron-sync-status

    If the following information is displayed, a consistency comparison and restoration task is being executed.

    • If yes, go to 14.
    • If no, go to 16.

  3. Wait for 5 to 10 minutes, manually perform data consistency comparison again, or wait for the next scheduled task to start.
  4. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 16.
