Restoring the SFTP Operation SDR Service Data on the Operation SDR Server

When Backup and Restoration on ManageOne Maintenance Portal is unavailable, system maintenance engineers can restore the data of the SFTP operation SDR service on the SFTP operation SDR server.

Context

If the data is damaged due to misoperations of system maintenance engineers, you can select the corresponding backup file to restore the system.

Prerequisites

Procedure

Preparing data

  1. Use PuTTY to log in to the ManageOne-Service01 node as the sopuser user.

    The default password of user sopuser is D4I$awOD7k.

  2. Run the following command to log in to the SFTP operation SDR server:

    ssh meteradmin@Address of the SFTP operation SDR server

    The default password of the meteradmin user is ManageOne12#$.

    NOTE:
    • On ManageOne Maintenance Portal, choose System Management > Platform Configuration > System Maintenance. In the navigation tree on the left, click Configuration Information Management and then Configure Data Reporting. On the displayed page, click the METERSFTP group name. The IP address is the IP address of the SFTP operation SDR server.

  3. Run the following command to switch to the root user:

    sudo su root

    The default password is Changeme_123.

  4. Run the following command to clear the files in the directory:

    cd /opt/meterfiles/uploads/

    rm -rf /opt/meterfiles/uploads/*

  5. Run the following command to create a temporary directory for storing backup files:

    mkdir -p /opt/temp/

  6. Run the following commands to modify the permission and user of the files:

    chmod 750 -R /opt/temp/

  7. Use FileZilla to upload the backup file to the /opt/temp/ directory pn the SFTP operation SDR server as the ossadm user.
  8. Change the user to which the file belongs.

    chown ossadm:ossgroup /opt/temp

  9. Run the following command to decompress the downloaded file:

    tar xf /opt/temp/20190314200209910.tar

  10. View the backup file after the downloaded file is decompressed.

    cd /opt/temp/20190314200209910

    ll

    Information similar to the following is displayed:

    total 308
    -rw-r----- 1 ossuser ossgroup 307200 Mar 14 20:02 20190314200203324.tar
    -rw-r----- 1 ossuser ossgroup 1280 Mar 14 20:02 client.cer
    -rw-r----- 1 ossuser ossgroup 344 Mar 14 20:02 remark.txt

  11. Run the following command to decompress the backup file obtained in Step 10:

    tar xf 20190314200203324.tar

    ll

    Information similar to the following is displayed:

  12. Change the user to which the file belongs.

    chown ossadm:ossgroup /opt/temp/20190314200209910/*

  13. Run the following command to adjust the full backup file directory:

    mv /opt/temp/20190314200209910/uploads/* /opt/meterfiles/uploads/

    ll

    cd /opt/meterfiles/uploads/

    rm -rf /opt/temp

    The SFTP operation SDR service data is restored.
