Setting Restoration Tasks

If you need to restore data from a backup file stored in the remote SFTP server, set a restoration task. Unified backup and restoration is used when Gauss, Redis, and CFE-ETCD services are backed up.

The paasdbsvr, deploydbsvr, and febsdb database instance in 8-VM scenarios of the management zone in shared clusters does not support unified restoration. For details about how to restore a paasdbsvr instance or a deploydbsvr instance, see Restoring the Gauss Database. For details about how to restore a febsdb instance, see Restoring Redis.

  • You have logged in to the FusionStage OM console.
  • A backup task has been performed successfully.

If the cluster is abnormal before task restoration due to network faults, restore the network connection first. After the network connection is restored, you are advised to check the etcd cluster status by referring to the mapping steps of "Checking the restoration status of the faulty cfe-etcd cluster" provided in section (Optional) Restoring a Faulty Tenant Management Zone cfe-etcd Cluster.

Table 2-6 describes restoration task parameters.

Table 2-6 Restoration task parameters

Resume task name

Currently, local backup files can only be restored by manual backup instead of unified backup. For details, see Restoration by Category. When Resume source is set to test-local, the "Illegal operation" dialog box is displayed.

  • When the instances named etcd, etcd-event, and etcd-network are to be restored, the instance named cse-etcd cannot be restored concurrently.
  • Restoring etcd will affect the services that use etcd. Therefore, you are advised to restore etcd during off-peak periods.
  1. Choose Application Development > Backup from the main menu. In the left navigation pane, choose Resume name.
  2. On the displayed page, perform the operations described in the following table.
