The CFW Service Page Is Blank

Symptom

On ManageOne Maintenance Portal, the CFW service page is blank.

Possible Causes

After the Tomcat process stops on the CFW-Console node due to an exception, the process is not automatically started. Another possible cause is that multiple Tomcat processes are started simultaneously due to daemon process exception.

Procedure

  1. Use PuTTY to log in to the CFW-Console01 management VM using the IP address corresponding to CFW-Console01.

    Default account: cfw; default password: Huawei12#$

  2. Run the following command and enter the password Cloud12#$ of user root to switch to the root user:

    sudo su - root

  3. Run the following command to disable user logout upon system timeout:

    TMOUT=0

  4. Run the following command to check whether the following information is displayed:

    ps -ef | grep tomcat

    [cfw@I-CFW-CON01 ~]$ ps -ef | grep tomcat
    cfw       5044  4158  0 09:19 pts/0    00:00:00 grep --color=auto tomcat
    cfw      22630     1  0 Apr22 ?        00:01:51 /opt/common/jre/bin/java -Dnop -Djava.util.logging.manager=org.apache.juli.ClassLoaderLogManager -Djdk.tls.ephemeralDHKeySize=2048 -Dorg.apache.catalina.security.SecurityListener.UMASK=0027 -Djava.endorsed.dirs=/home/cfw/local/tomcat/endorsed -classpath /home/cfw/local/tomcat/bin/bootstrap.jar:/home/cfw/local/tomcat/bin/tomcat-juli.jar -Dcatalina.base=/home/cfw/local/tomcat -Dcatalina.home=/home/cfw/local/tomcat -Djava.io.tmpdir=/home/cfw/local/tomcat/temp org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap start
    • If yes, go to 7.
    • If no, go to 5.

  5. Run the following command to forcibly stop the Tomcat process:

    kill -9 {Process ID}

  6. Run the following command to restart the Tomcat process:

    sh /home/cfw/local/tomcat/bin/restart.sh

  7. Use PuTTY to log in to the CFW-Console02 management VM using the IP address corresponding to CFW-Console02.

    Default account: cfw; default password: Huawei12#$

  8. Run the following command and enter the password Cloud12#$ of user root to switch to the root user:

    sudo su - root

  9. Run the following command to disable user logout upon system timeout:

    • If yes, go to 13.
    • If no, go to 11.

  11. Run the following command to forcibly stop the Tomcat process:

    kill -9 {Process ID}

  12. Run the following command to restart the Tomcat process:

    sh /home/cfw/local/tomcat/bin/restart.sh

  13. Log in to the CFW-Service01 management VM using the IP address corresponding to CFW-Service01.

    Default account: cfw; default password: Huawei12#$

  14. Run the following command and enter the password Cloud12#$ of user root to switch to the root user:

    sudo su - root

  15. Run the following command to disable user logout upon system timeout:

    TMOUT=0

  16. Run the following command to check whether the following information is displayed:

    • If no, go to 17.

  17. Run the following command to forcibly stop the Tomcat process:

    kill -9 {Process ID}

  18. Run the following command to restart the Tomcat process:

    sh /home/cfw/local/tomcat/bin/restart.sh

  19. Log in to the CFW-Service02 management VM using the IP address corresponding to CFW-Service02.
  20. Run the following command and enter the password Cloud12#$ of user root to switch to the root user:

    sudo su - root

  21. Run the following command to disable user logout upon system timeout:

    TMOUT=0

  22. Run the following command to check whether the following information is displayed:

    ps -ef | grep tomcat
    [cfw@I-CFW-SRV02 ~]$ ps -ef | grep tomcat
    cfw       7469 21580  0 22:16 pts/0    00:00:00 grep --color=auto tomcat

    • If yes, go to 25.
    • If no, go to 23.

  23. Run the following command to forcibly stop the Tomcat process:

    kill -9 {Process ID}

  24. Run the following command to restart the Tomcat process:

    sh /home/cfw/local/tomcat/bin/restart.sh

  25. Use a browser to log in to ManageOne as a VDC administrator or VDC operator.

    URL in the non-B2B scenario: https://Address for accessing ManageOne Operation Portal, for example, https://console.demo.com.

    URL in the B2B scenario: https://address for accessing ManageOne Tenant Portal, for example, https://tenant.demo.com.

  26. Select a region and project from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.
  27. Check whether the CFW service can be accessed.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, contact technical support for assistance.
