Redeploying the DBSS Service

Scenarios

The redeployment includes uninstalling the DBSS service, installing the DBSS service, and updating the database table. The database table is automatically updated during installation and requires no manual operation.

Procedure
  1. Use your security service account to log in to DMK.

    • Login address: https://DMK floating IP address:8443.
    • Default account: sysadmin; default password: Admin@123

  2. In the navigation tree on the left, choose Members. See Figure 17-1.

  3. On the page that is displayed, click Create User in the upper left corner. See Figure 17-2.

  4. In the Create User dialog box that is displayed, set parameters. See Figure 17-3 and Table 17-4.

    A username must be a combination of digits, letters, and underscores (_), and can contain a maximum of 20 characters.

    Indicates the role created by a user.

  5. Click OK.
  6. Log the sysadmin user out of the system and log in to the system as the user created in 4.
  7. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Deploy Guide and switch to the Service Configuration page.
  8. Click Services and select FusionGuard-DBSS.

    • Set Select Version to 1.0.8.
    • Set Select Action to Uninstall DBSS Service.
    • Set Select Region to local.
    • Set Host Repository to NO.
    • Set Blue-Green Deployment to NO.

  9. Click Next to go to the Hosts and User Configuration page.

    • Set Team to SCC.
    • Set Account to sccadmin (sccadmin local) registered in DMK.

  10. Click beside Configuration File, click to copy the configuration template content on the right to the left, and configure uninstallation information based on Table 17-5.

  11. Click beside Hosts Configuration File and click to copy the configuration template content on the right to the left. See Figure 17-4.

  12. Click Execute. In the displayed dialog box, click OK to start uninstalling the DBSS service.
  13. Wait for about 2 to 4 minutes. The uninstallation is complete. See Figure 17-5 (unreachable=0 and failed=0).

  14. Install the DBSS service by referring to 8.
  15. Click Services and select FusionGuard-DBSS.

    • Set Select Version to 1.0.8.
    • Set Select Action to Install DBSS Service.
    • Set Select Region to local.
    • Set Host Repository to NO.
    • Set Blue-Green Deployment to NO.

  16. Configure node information by referring to 10 to 12.
  17. Click Execute. In the displayed dialog box, click OK to start installing the DBSS service.
  18. Wait for about 2 minutes. The installation is complete. The operation is successful when information similar to Figure 17-6 is displayed (unreachable=0 and failed=0).

  19. After the installation is successful, click Task Board in the navigation pane on the left to view the installation history.
