Information Required for Troubleshooting Other Exceptions

If the problem cannot be resolved with the preceding solutions, collect the following information and contact technical support:

NOTE:

In this section, /var/log/paas/oss is assumed as the root log directory.

  1. Use PuTTY to log in to the master database node as the paas user.

    The default username is paas, and the default password is QAZ2wsx@123!.

  2. Run the following command to collect logs:

    /var/log/paas/oss/manager/DeployAgent/

    /opt/gauss/data/<Database name>/pg_log/

  3. In addition, collect the result obtained by running the following command after the gs_ctl tool accesses the database:

    1. Run the following command to switch to the root user:

      su - root

      The default password is QAZ2wsx@123!.

    2. Run the following command to switch to the dbuser user:

      su - dbuser

    3. Run the following command to import the environment variable:

      . ~/appgsdb.bashrc

    4. Collect the result obtained by running the following command after the gs_ctl tool accesses the database:

      gs_ctl query -D /opt/gauss/data/<Master database name>

      Enter database user dbuser password: Admin@123

  4. Run the following command to switch to the root user:

    exit

  5. Run the following command to switch to the paas user:

    exit

  6. Run the following commands and snapshot the returned command output:

    cd /opt/paas/oss/manager/apps/DBAgent/bin

    . /opt/paas/oss/manager/bin/engr_profile.sh

    ./dbsvc_adm -cmd query-db-instance

  7. Describe the symptom.
