Recovering the Default Configuration

If 64 queues are no longer required, you can restore the default configuration.

Prerequisites

  • The IN200 driver package has been uploaded to the server OS.

    The NIC driver package and the hinicconfig tool are contained in the software package. For details about how to obtain them, see Obtaining Software Packages.

  • The NIC driver package corresponding to the IN200 has been installed on the server OS.

    For details about the installation method, see Maintaining the NIC Driver.

Procedure

  1. Log in to server OS.

    For details, see Logging In to the iBMC WebUI.

  1. Run the following command to go to the directory where the driver package is decompressed, for example, /home:

    cd /home

  2. Run the following commands to query the current configuration template:

    cd tools/linux/nic/config

    ./hinicconfig hinic0
    • If no template has been configured on the device, the following information is displayed:
      Cannot find template in card, maybe it's empty.
      Note: the template is empty by default.
    • If a template has been configured on the device, the following information is displayed:

  3. Run the following command to restore the default configuration:

    ./hinicconfig hinic0 -f std_sh_4x25ge_nic_cfg_template0.ini

    The following information is displayed:

    linux-gIRJWR:/home/tools/linux/nic/config # ./hinicconfig hinic0 -f std_sh_4x25ge_nic_cfg_template0.ini 
    Template std_sh_4x25ge_nic_cfg_template0.ini will be configured to device hinic0
