Manual Service Recovery
In manual recovery mode, if data or applications in data center A (production center) cannot be used due to disasters or faults, you need to manually perform fault recovery to switch services to data center B (DR center).
Prerequisites
- You have obtained the eReplication login address, account, and the password from the administrator.
- You have obtained the account and the password of the ManageOne OM plane from the administrator.
Before performing fault recovery, disconnect the storage quorum link corresponding to the faulty data center and then disconnect HyperMetro replication links on the HyperMetro storage of the DR center.
Procedure
- Log in to the ManageOne OM plane using a browser, click eReplication under to log in to eReplication.
- URL: https://Address for the homepage of the ManageOne OM plane:31943. For example: https://oc.type.com:31943.
- Default username: admin, default password: Huawei12#$.
If the login fails, use the following login address and eReplication account and password to log in to eReplication.
- Login address: https://floating IP address of the management plane of eReplication:9443/src/login/view/login.html.
- The default account is admin, and password is Admin@123.
- On the menu bar, click
Recovery.
- Select a recovery plan and click Operation area. in the
- In the Warning dialog box that is displayed, select I have read and understood the consequences associated with performing this operation and click OK.
- Check whether the fault is successfully recovered.After the fault recovery is complete, check the status of the recovery plan.
- If the status is Fault recovery completed, the fault is rectified.
- If the status is Fault recovery failed, rectify the fault based on the failure cause and perform the fault recovery again. If the fault recovery fails again, contact technical support engineers.
