Planned Failback of Services in the DR Center
After services in data center A (production center) are migrated to data center B (DR center) through planned migration, they need to be switched back to the production site according to the drilling plan.
Prerequisites
- Data center A (production center) and data center B (DR center) are communicating properly. In addition, the management system and DR environment of data center A (production center) and data center B (DR center) are running properly.
- Planned migration have been successfully performed for service systems according to a recovery plan.
- The production ECSs are working properly and the service system in the original production center is in the standby state.
Procedure
- Log in to the ManageOne OM plane using a browser, click eReplication under to log in to eReplication.
- URL: https://Address for the homepage of the ManageOne OM plane:31943. For example: https://oc.type.com:31943.
- Default username: admin, default password: Huawei12#$.
If the login fails, use the following login address and eReplication account and password to log in to eReplication.
- Login address: https://floating IP address of the management plane of eReplication:9443/src/login/view/login.html.
- The default account is admin, and password is Admin@123.
- On the menu bar, click
Recovery.
- Select the recovery plan whose service instance need to planned migration, and click More > Planned Migration in the Operation area.
- In the Warning dialog box that is displayed, select I have read and understood the consequences associated with performing this operation and click OK.
- The Sending the command succeeded dialog box is displayed. Click OK.
- Check whether the planned migration is successful.
When the Progress of the service instance to be migrated is 100%, click Execution Records and check whether Result is Succeeded.
- If Result is Succeeded, the planned migration is successful.
- If Result is Failed, rectify the fault based on the failure cause and perform the planned migration again. If the planned migration fails again, contact technical support engineers.
