Implementation Principles

The following two products are covered:

  • ADS: It is a portal for analyzing database services. It provides the functions such as applying for, modifying, approving, provisioning, and measuring services, and monitoring the services that users apply for.
  • FusionInsight LibrA: It provides resource restriction, isolation, and data permission control capabilities for analytical database services.


Figure 33-4 shows the logical architecture of the ADS.

Creates FusionInsight tenants and users and query resource usage.

Provides Identity and Access Management (IAM) services.


Provides the resource metering function.



Provides background interfaces for the console. It is a background execution component for service instance application, and console and LibrA management. It periodically exports metering CDRs of service instances. It depends on the operation, O&M, and authentication framework capabilities of FusionCloud. It requires the FusionInsight Manager tenants, users, and monitoring interfaces of LibrA.


Provides pages for service instance application and LibrA management. Its registration depends on the console framework of FusionCloud and SSO depends on IAM of FusionCloud.


Figure 33-5 shows the ADS workflow.

  1. Access the ADS service through the ManageOne operation plane.
  2. Publish and order services through Console and Service.
  3. The corresponding data of the ordered ADS service is synchronized to the FusionInsight backend.
  4. Log in to the FusionInsight backend as FusionInsight administrator to manage data.
