Application Scenarios

Memory-optimized ECSs are developed based on the KVM virtualization platform and designed for processing large-scale data sets in the memory. They provide a maximum memory size of 512 GB based on DDR4 for high-memory computing applications. Memory-optimized ECSs are suitable for applications that require a large amount of memory, process large volumes of data, and demand rapid data switching and processing. The scenarios include precision advertising, e-commerce big data analysis, and IoV big data analysis.

NOTE:

The platform supports the combinations of different types of ECSs, such as the combination of GPU ECSs and ultra-high I/O ECSs. Memory-optimized ECSs can use Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK) fast packet processing mechanism to provide higher network performance.
