Implementation Principles

The following two products are involved:

  • HDS: provides portals for applying for, modifying, approving, provisioning, and measuring services, and monitoring the services that users apply for.
  • FusionInsight HD: provides resource restriction, isolation, and data permission control capabilities for big data services.

Architecture

Metering

Provides the resource metering function.

HDS

Service

Provides background interfaces for the console. It is a background execution component for service instance application, and console and HD management. It periodically exports metering CDRs of service instances. It depends on the operation, O&M, and authentication framework capabilities of FusionCloud. It requires the FIM tenants, users, and monitoring interfaces of HD.

Console

Provides pages for service instance application and HD management. Its registration depends on the console framework of FusionCloud and SSO depends on IAM of FusionCloud.

Workflow

Figure 34-5 show the HDS workflow.

Figure 34-5 HDS workflow
  1. Access HDS through the ManageOne operation plane.
  2. Publish and order services through Console and Service.
  3. The data of the ordered HDS services is synchronized to the FusionInsight backend.
  4. Administrators log in to the FusionInsight backend to manage data.
