Pods Fail to Be Deleted from the SUES OS

Symptom

During the stopping or scaling of a node, applications on the node are always in the terminating state.

Possible Causes

The Docker of the SUSE OS is abnormal.

Troubleshooting Method

  1. Use PuTTY to log in to the manage_core1_ip node.

    The default username is paas, and the default password is QAZ2wsx@123!.

  2. Run the following command to query any pod where an abnormal application is located:

    kubectl get pod --all-namespaces | grep Name of an abnormal application

    The command output is as follows:

  3. Obtain the namespaces (for details, see column 1 in the command output) and pod names (for details, see column 2 in the command output). Run the following command to delete each pod where an abnormal application is located:

    kubectl delete pod Application pod name -n Application namespace --grace-period=0 --force
