Configuring an SFTP User on the Operation Plane for Internal Transmission

Configuring an SFTP User on the Operation Plane for Internal Transmission

To ensure the normal running of ManageOne, you need to create an SFTP user on the operation plane for internal data transmission and then implement related configurations.

Creating an SFTP User on the Operation Plane for Internal Transmission

To ensure the normal running of ManageOne, you need to create an SFTP user on the operation nodes for internal data transmission in advance.

Prerequisites

The create_user.sh and create_autoopssftp.sh script files have been uploaded. For details, see Uploading Script Files.

Context
  • meteradmin is an internal user used by the metering function. You can use the meteradmin user to upload the generated call detail records (CDRs) to operation nodes.
  • taskfileadmin is an internal user used for downloading files in the task center. You can use user taskfileadmin to export related data to a specified SFTP server.
  • autoopsadmin is an internal user used for managing the automatic O&M file and writing files related to automated O&M to a specified SFTP server.
  • autoopsagent is an internal user for automated O&M and is used for the Agent to read files from a specified SFTP server.
Procedure
  1. Use PuTTY to separately log in to the regionAlias-ManageOne-Service03 and regionAlias-ManageOne-Service04 nodes as the sopuser user.

The default password of the sopuser user is D4I$awOD7k.

  2. Run the following command to switch to the root user:

    su - root

    The default password is Changeme_123.

  3. Run the following commands on the two nodes separately to create the meteradmin and taskfileadmin users:

    chmod 500 /tmp/installScript/create_user.sh

    bash /tmp/installScript/create_user.sh meteradmin /opt/meterfiles/uploads taskfileadmin /opt/taskfiles

Enter the initial passwords of the users as prompted. You are advised to set the passwords to ManageOne12#$.

    please enter the password

If the command output contains success, the meteradmin and taskfileadmin users have been successfully created.

  4. Run the following commands on the two nodes separately to create the autoopsadmin and autoopsagent users:

    chmod 500 /tmp/installScript/create_autoopssftp.sh

    bash /tmp/installScript/create_autoopssftp.sh

Enter the initial passwords of the users as prompted. You are advised to set the passwords to ManageOne12#$.

please enter the AUTOOPSSFTP password for user autoopsadmin and autoopsagent

If the command output contains create AUTOOPSSFTP success, the autoopsadmin and autoopsagent users have been successfully created.

Configuring File Synchronization Between the Active and Standby Nodes for an SFTP User

After an SFTP user for internal transmission on the operation plane is created, you need to configure the trust relationship for the user on the two nodes to ensure that the file information can be automatically synchronized between the active and standby nodes.

Prerequisites

You have created an SFTP user for internal transmission on the operation plane. For details, see Creating an SFTP User on the Operation Plane for Internal Transmission.

Procedure
  1. Go to the /confSFTP directory in the ManageOne_init_tools folder on your PC, and run conf_sftp.bat.
  2. When the following information is displayed, enter the password of the root user and press Enter:

Input the default password of root for all hosts:
When the following information is displayed, the SFTP file synchronization has been configured successfully:
Success to configure sftp file synchronization

If the preset role fails to be created, view the log files in the /confSFTP/log directory, resolve the problem according to log information, and perform the operations in this section again.
