DBM Database Recovery

DBM Database Recovery


During the recovery, do not perform any operations that affect database functions, for example, start or stop the database or database nodes. Otherwise, the recovery may fail.

Node Description

Database nodes of the current networking are as follows:

  • Database nodes in large-scale VM deployment scenario are as follows:
    • OM-Core01
    • OM-Core02
    • Manage-DB01
    • Manage-DB02
  • Database nodes in small-scale VM deployment scenario or logical networking of physical machine scenario are as follows:
    • OM-Core01
    • OM-Core02
    • Manage-Core01
    • Manage-Core02

Following procedure can be used to query database nodes:

  1. Use PuTTY to log in to the om_core1_ip node.

    The default username is paas, and the default password is QAZ2wsx@123!.

  2. Run the following commands to query the database replication status:

    cd /opt/paas/oss/manager/apps/DBAgent/bin

    ./dbsvc_adm -cmd query-db-instance

    Information similar to the following is displayed:

    • apmdbsvr-10_90_73_163-3@10_90_73_164-3 indicates the database instance name, apmdbsvr-10_90_73_163-3 indicates the master database instance, and apmdbsvr-10_90_73_164-3 indicates the slave database instance.
    • Master indicates the master instance, and Slave indicates the standby instance.
    • om indicates OM Zone, and manage indicates Tenant Management Zone.
    • indicates the IP address of the node where the database instance resides, and 32082 indicates the number of the port used by the database instance.
    • -- indicates a single-instance node. There is no replication status for a single node.
