Collecting Fault Information

Collect as much fault information as possible, because fault information helps maintenance engineers correctly diagnose faults.

Diagnosing the Fault

Before rectifying the fault, system maintenance personnel need to determine the scope and type of the fault based on the collected fault information.

Locating the Fault

Fault locating refers to the process of finding the root cause of the fault from multiple possible causes. By using certain methods or measures to analyze and compare the possible causes of the fault, the system maintenance personnel finally find the real cause of the fault after excluding impossible causes.

The common fault locating method is as follows:View related information on ManageOne.

Rectifying the Fault

Fault rectification refers to the process of rectifying a fault according to different causes of the fault. The process involves checking and preparing lines, modifying configuration data, restarting processes, and restarting servers.

NOTE:

If the system maintenance personnel cannot rectify the fault, contact technical support for assistance.

Verifying Fault Rectification

Query the device status and alarm to verify that the system is running properly. Commission related services to ensure that services are available.

Recording the Troubleshooting Process

After rectifying the fault, record the key points about troubleshooting and the measures taken to prevent the faults of the same type from recurring.
